The design brief for the Orchard House kitchen focused on modernity and functionality. The developers envisioned an open-plan space that was sleek and modern, with plenty of room for preparation, excellent visibility, and a substantial island that would serve both cooking and socializing purposes.
The design also had to appeal to a range of buyers, as this project would be listed for sale once complete.
With our advice, the Orchard House developers selected our handleless collection in 'Touch - Slate Grey Supermatt' for a smooth, contemporary look, paired with 'Structura - Havana Oak Reproduction' wall units, bringing both warmth and texture to the space. Integrated LED lighting and matching panels for the breakfast bar further enhanced the aesthetic, creating a cohesive and inviting environment.
Functionality is always a priority in our German kitchen designs, so we conducted several online design sessions with the homeowners to ensure that the layout and workflow of the kitchen would meet their specific needs. Emphasis on ergonomics was essential throughout the design process.

After finalizing the design, manufacturing began for the Orchard House kitchen. We worked closely with our technical team in Germany to ensure that every detail was perfectly orchestrated, ready for production at Nobilia's advanced facility in Gütersloh.
Once the kitchen was completed, the next phase involved its transportation to Orchard House. Nobilia’s dedicated fleet ensured that the pre-assembled kitchen units were safely transported to our UK depot. Our logistics team then handled the delivery to site on the agreed-upon date, ensuring everything was on schedule.
Our goal is to offer outstanding value, focusing on cost-effectiveness without compromising quality. Our efficient supply-only service allowed the Orchard House team to obtain the perfect kitchen for their project at a highly competitive rate, providing a significant cost advantage over traditional high street alternatives.
Throughout the installation process, our team was readily available to answer any questions from the installers at Orchard House. This included general inquiries about the design and products as well as specific guidance on the unique aspects of the installation, such as the integrated LED lighting and handleless fixtures.
We maintained continuous communication with the installation team at Orchard House, ensuring a smooth and stress-free experience for the homeowners.
